Introducing the Department of Comparative Religious Studies:

The Department of Comparative Religions has recently been established in Darulquran Academy, relying on exploring the theoretical and analytic infrastructure of the Quran along with the other Abrahamic traditions. In fact, this department seeks to deliberate on underlying concepts of sacred books through a scholarly perspective. Holding mutual dialogue with Abrahamic religions is another goal that we look forward to.

We will also examine the multiple layers of the mystical, philosophical, and moral meanings of the Quran compared to other sacred books such as the Bible and the Torah. Furthermore, we will discuss and exchange opinions with the intellectuals of other Abrahamic religions.

Our approach in this department is entirely scientific and phenomenological, and the spiritual values of any religion will not be judged or validated.

Goals and Vision:

Our goal in this department is to create an opportunity for the profound and efficient study of the exoteric and esoteric concepts of sacred books. Studying the evolvement and evolution of the theological, cosmological, anthropological, moral, mystical, and philosophical basis of the Holy Quran, along with other sacred books, is one of the main concerns of this department.

Proceedings:

• Holding international conferences and meetings on a variety of comparative issues between Islam and other religions

• Holding short-term and long-term scientific and educational courses in the field of comparative theology

• Holding seminars and specific meetings by focusing on the concepts of the Quran and other sacred books

International Cooperation:

It is worthy of note that Darulquran Academy welcomes joint cooperation with other international institutions and organizations regarding promoting and disseminating the concepts of the Quran with theoretical, epistemological, and comparative approaches. This academy is ready to hold international joint events too.
